Olivia Dean’s unstoppable momentum continues as Olivia Dean Holds the Top Spot on the U.K. Albums Chart for a Fifth Consecutive Week with her sophomore album, The Art of Loving, according to the Official U.K. Albums Chart dated January 16.

Originally released in September, the London singer-songwriter’s album returned to the No. 1 position on January 2, marking the first U.K. chart-topper of 2026. The Art of Loving initially debuted at the summit and has reclaimed the top spot intermittently, proving its lasting appeal.

Looking ahead, Dean is set to make her Grammy debut in February, nominated for Best New Artist alongside Lola Young, Leon Thomas, Sombr, Alex Warren, and KATSEYE.

New Entries Make Waves

After a busy week of promotional events and in-store signings across major U.K. cities, the highest new entry on this week’s chart comes from British boyband Blue. Their album Reflections marks the band’s highest chart position in more than 20 years. “We never imagined we’d be having such a high chart position after 23 years, so we are incredibly grateful,” Blue said in a statement. “We are brothers who have been through a lot of ups and downs together, and this is a high moment we are going to remember for a long time.”

Country music star Zach Bryan also makes a notable debut with his 25-track collection With Heaven on Top, landing at No. 3—his personal best on the U.K. charts.

Classic rock fans are treated to Fleetwood Mac’s compilation 50 Years – Don’t Stop, which rises to No. 4 thanks to a streaming surge following the use of “Landslide” in the final season of Stranger Things. The Cribs earn their first-ever top-five U.K. record with Selling a Vibe, entering at No. 5.

Chart Highlights

Further down, Dry Cleaning secures its third U.K. top-20 record with Secret Love (No. 12), while The Kid Laroi’s sophomore album, Before I Forget, rounds out the week at No. 22.

With Dean holding steady at the top and fresh entries shaking up the chart, the U.K. music scene continues to showcase a dynamic mix of emerging talent and veteran artists.
