The latest Friday Music Guide delivered a strong mix of fresh albums and standout singles, giving music fans plenty to explore heading into the weekend. From long-anticipated full-length projects to genre-spanning new tracks, this week’s releases offered something for nearly every listener. The big question now is: Which new release is your favorite this week? ENHYPEN, A$AP Rocky, Madison Beer & more 🎶

Major Album Releases Steal the Spotlight

Leading the album drops is A$AP Rocky, who finally returned with Don’t Be Dumb, his first studio album since 2018’s Testing. While fans had already heard teasers like “Punk Rocky” and “Helicopter,” the full release landed with 15 core tracks, along with two additional digital bonus songs, marking a bold and layered comeback for the Harlem rapper.

K-pop fans were also treated this Friday as ENHYPEN unveiled their 11-track EP The Sin: Vanish. Fronted by the striking lead single “Knife,” the vampire-inspired project kicks off what is expected to be a larger The Sin series. Featuring members Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-Ki, the release blends dark visuals with sharp pop production.

Rounding out the album trio is Madison Beer, who released her third studio album locket. Following her critically praised Silence Between Songs from 2023, the new project builds on her evolving sound. The album includes fan-favorite “Make You Mine,” a top 10 hit on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, alongside earlier singles “Yes Baby” and “Bittersweet,” the latter marking her first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100.

Fresh Singles Add Even More Flavor

Beyond albums, the singles lineup was just as compelling. Nigerian stars Wizkid and Asake teamed up on the energetic “Jogodo,” while country singer Megan Moroney delivered emotional depth with “Wish I Didn’t.” Indie-pop favorite Mitski also joined the week’s highlights with her introspective new track, “Where’s My Phone?”
