Q: For readers hearing the name Trxp9K for the first time, who are you?
Trxp9K: My name is Noah Cantrell. I was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, and now I’m rising out of Wilmington, North Carolina. I go by the alias Trxp9K, pronounced Trip 9K. I’m an artist, entrepreneur, and creator focused on building something bigger than music.
Q: What does “bigger than music” mean to you?
Trxp9K: I’ve been pursuing music for over eight years, and along the way I learned how important relationships, branding, and networking are. That’s what inspired me to create HC9K Entertainment—to help independent artists access opportunities and resources that can help them grow.
Q: What has been the biggest obstacle you’ve faced as an independent artist?
Trxp9K: Building the right team and getting my music in front of the right people. There were times when it felt like I had to do everything myself. What kept me going was staying consistent and continuing to improve my craft. Eventually, that work paid off when my single “Gorgeous” reached #21 on the Genius Top 100s.
Q: What do you think most independent artists are missing today?
Trxp9K: Most artists aren’t missing talent—they’re missing structure. A lot of artists struggle with marketing, branding, and access to the right networks. Through HC9K Entertainment, I want to help provide those missing pieces.
Q: Who is Noah Cantrell when everything is quiet?
Trxp9K: Outside of music and business, I’m just a person trying to figure life out like everybody else. I stay close to the people I trust, spend time reflecting, and remember why I started. At the end of the day, I’m still Noah Cantrell before anything else.

For Trxp9K, the goal isn’t just success—it’s creating a legacy that opens doors for others.
