Today, J. Cole made a major announcement regarding his seventh studio album, The Fall-Off. The rapper revealed that the album is set to drop on February 6, 2026, alongside a reveal of its cover art and an exciting new trailer. Fans quickly flooded social media with excitement and support for the upcoming project. Adding fuel to the fire, Drake Associate Fuels Buzz After Posting J. Cole’s “The Fall-Off” Trailer when songwriter and producer Fierce shared the trailer on his Instagram.
Fierce, well-known for collaborating with Drake on tracks like Push Ups and Family Matters, immediately sparked speculation online. Many fans are theorizing that Fierce may have contributed to the production of Cole’s album, and some even wonder whether Drake himself could appear on the project.
While nothing has been officially confirmed, hints of potential collaborations continue to circulate. In a recent podcast, Mal from Rory & Mal revealed that J. Cole had initially planned features from both Drake and Kendrick Lamar. According to Mal, this led Cole to re-record parts of the album due to tensions between the artists.

“Yes, Kendrick was on the album, and Drake was on the album,” Mal stated. “Well, was, which is why we didn’t get the album yet, because now he has to redo the whole thing.” Whether either artist will appear on the final release remains uncertain.
In addition to digital and streaming versions, an exclusive vinyl edition of The Fall-Off is available for pre-order.
