Deezer has notably tagged the release as “AI-generated content,” while Da Soul Orchestra’s YouTube bio openly states that the group uses artificial intelligence to reinvent classic tracks in new styles.
Originally written for the 1988 film Working Girl, “Let the River Run” holds a celebrated place in pop culture. The song underscored both the opening and closing moments of the film starring Harrison Ford, Sigourney Weaver and Melanie Griffith. Its impact was lasting: the track earned Carly Simon an Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Grammy for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture or Television, later reaching No. 49 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 11 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
As Milan Fashion Week continues through Jan. 20, attention is already turning to who might follow Williams onto the runway. Speculation briefly swirled around his Heated Rivalry co-star Connor Storrie potentially making a modeling debut for Dolce & Gabbana. However, according to W magazine, the actor’s publicists have since shut down those rumors.
