Little Mix star Perrie Edwards welcomes her second child with fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, marking a joyful new chapter for the singer and her growing family.
The 32-year-old pop star shared the happy news on Instagram on Saturday, January 17, revealing that she and her fiancé, professional footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, have welcomed a baby girl. The couple are already parents to their four-year-old son, Axel.
Edwards introduced her newborn daughter to fans with a tender black-and-white photograph, captioned simply with her name, “Alanis Valentine,” alongside pink heart emojis. In the intimate image, baby Alanis is cradled against her mother’s chest, while Perrie, Alex, and young Axel gently rest their hands on the newborn’s back, creating a touching family moment.
The couple, who became engaged in 2022, announced the pregnancy in September 2025 with a playful and heartfelt Instagram video. In the clip, Edwards turned around wearing a T-shirt that read, “If He Wanted To He Would…” before revealing her baby bump and a second message on the front: “…and He Did!” Oxlade-Chamberlain and their son soon joined her, wrapping the announcement in a warm family hug.

“At the time, Axel wasn’t even walking yet,” she shared. “I was rehearsing and suddenly felt unwell. Every symptom made me think, ‘I’m pregnant,’ and I was right.” However, despite initial reassurance, Edwards revealed that something felt wrong during the tour, and devastating news later came at her 20-week scan.
